Addictions

God has designed each of us to be transformed into His image. This is the essence of His original intent for all mankind. 1 Corinthians 6:20 says that we have been bought with a price and are to glorify God in our bodies. The Bible also teaches that we are predestined to conform to Christ's image (Rom. 8:29).

Many kinds of addictions!

• Drugs – street or prescription drugs, and Alcohol because alcohol is a drug; the most addictive prescriptive drug is antihistamines. The withdrawal can be as severe as you can imagine.

• Inordinate affection – there is a sole tie that is not godly. Females will become co-dependent with each other, situational homosexuality. You find that in prisons. It does not have to be sexuality, but it involves ungodly bonding to members of the same sex. The roots are still the same. Needing affection from another person instead of God. Soul Ties!

• Homosexuality is a sexual expression of dependence upon another person for significance and value. They have inordinate affection for each other. It is the need for love instead of God. They don't believe God loves them. It is also motivated by an inability to resolve emotional difficulties, which leads to addictive relational and sexual patterns.

• Molestation

• Pornography

• Nicotine from cigarettes. The nicotine in cigarettes is hazardous to the mobile home you live in. Cigarette spiritually to a person. It has nothing to do with nicotine whatsoever. It is what hits the lips for nurturing. When a baby kitty is taken away too early, it will continuously try to knead on you. It wants milk from you. Because it was taken from its mother too soon. It needs love. Nurturing the need to be loved. Sucking reflex from eating and smoking.

• Addiction to soap operas, etc.

• Gambling

• Food addictions – if you have an alcoholic addiction, you can change your addiction to carbohydrates and sugar because both of these convert to alcohol in your body to feed your addiction.

Anything that you cannot lay down by an act of your will means you are addicted. Anything that controls you and rules you is your master. The Lord is not your master, the father is not your master. Something in physical creation is your lord. Master of, ruler of, etc.

You try to take it away from them, like a kid with a piece of candy. When you try to take it away, they go into a temper tantrum because something from within controls them.

This kingdom uses many mechanisms. The enemy knows how to control you out of your need.

What is behind addiction? The need to be loved. Takes you into a world of finding love in all the wrong places. And that place can include a chemical. How does the enemy know how to bind you to this level.

3 classes of addiction in scripture. They are all talked about in Galatians.

1. Galatians 3:1-3 1O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3 Are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
The first thing that happens is spiritual bewitchment. You shall love god, your neighbor, and yourself. Upon this, all of the law and prophets hang. Addiction is rooted in the need to be loved. If you were to complete the gospel, receive the love for yourself, accept who you are once and for all, have love for others, and be complete, you would never need love in all the wrong places. Your enemy knows that if he can get in a place loved by god, love yourself or others, he can get you to look outside for something that will be a fix.

When you don’t love yourself or accept who you are, the first thing in your body chemistry is a dip in serotonin levels. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter released from the nervous system out of the dendrites of the basal ganglia, which is part of your brain stem. Your enemy knows through the mind/body connection between the cerebral cortex and hypothalamus that if you start stewing in your juices about god, yourself, and others and don’t feel love, he can make serotonin levels, what he does through the hypothalamus, causes the pineal gland that regulates serotonin levels in the body to trigger the under the production of serotonin levels.

When you have serotonin level deficiency, you not only don’t feel right in the area of acceptance and love spiritually, you don’t feel that way in your psyche or in your soul or emotions, and now you think goofy in your physio. Now you are in trouble.

If you take your peace with God, self, and others, the hypothalamus will recognize your fulfillment and signal your pineal gland to release serotonin values. Your spirit, soul, and body will become balanced again, and you will feel complete.

Jesus said peace is given unto you but not as the world gives …

When we find addictions, we see a person who is separated from god, themselves, and separated from others every single time. If you find somebody who is struggling with any type of addiction, you know or will know in the future, you know their or your battleground. You have been spiritually bewitched from the simplicity of the gospel.

Your enemy knows your biology better than most of your pastors. The enemy knows that if he can get you stewing in this stuff, he can make your serotonin levels drop or become deficient. There is no way you can get them back up unless you take a drug because you are in a chemical imbalance. So the sorcerer, your friendly drugstore pharmacist, knows from the study of pharmacology that he can give you a serotonin drug enhancer to make you feel good. 

Still, now you are addicted to the enhancer. That is a false peace. As long as you take the drug, you may feel better about yourself, but you still have an unloving and unclean spirit that is part of your nature, and even on the drug, you still don’t feel satisfied but just more tormented.

Your enemy also knows that if he can create an altered state of consciousness, he can release various chemicals, too. Your enemy knows that since he has now produced a chemical imbalance in your body because of an unloving spirit, he now wants to be your solution. First, he causes the problem; you don’t know what is happening. He knows what is going on. 

He will engineer thoughts that you will take steps to enter into various arenas to go after fulfillment. In some instances, it could be pornography. The root is not lust. It is the need to be loved. Lust is not the strongman in pornography. Lust fuels dopamine. Doplamines is another neurotransmitter called “feel good”. The pleasure neurotransmitter. To compensate biologically for the spiritual deficiency, the person must get a rush.

Example: Drug that operates on that principle. Cocaine is not chemically addictive. Cocaine, according to the secular world, is psychologically addictive. In cocaine, the person does not like themselves; their serotonins are down, and they desperately need to be loved. Wherever they go is not enough, and they are never satisfied. 

Somebody introduces them to cocaine. The pharmaceutical for cocaine is to release dopamine. Cocaine is released dopamine, all of it. The first hit of cocaine releases all the dopamine in the body that there is in one big rush. Dopamine is what is released in an orgasm. A proper relationship is the physical release in that relationship at that level.

Someone takes cocaine, and they have what is equivalent to a spiritual and emotional relationship. The rush returns to real life and bumps into not feeling loved because that didn’t go away. No chemical rush is happening, and we are now drawn to fulfillment. They find a dealer and get more cocaine. They take the next hit of cocaine and are ready for that fulfillment and come into a rude surprise because they didn’t get a rush at all. 

They remember what the first one did. Why don’t they get a rush again? Because god puts checks and balances on promiscuity. The body manufactures all the other neurotransmitters relatively quickly except for dopamine. If dopamine is entirely released from the body, it takes 2 years to return to total value in the body. If it is never rereleased. That person goes from one hit to the next hit and never again achieves that release. They remember it. That is why it is called a psychologically addictive drug.

An altered state of consciousness defies what creation is all about! If he had created you to smoke, he would have made you that way.

The enemy gives you chemicals to alter the state of consciousness into chemical peace. It is not the peace that Jesus gives because Jesus said this Peace I present to you but not as the world gives to you.

The need to be loved is built in us from creation. The ability to give and receive love is part of our creation. Because of our breakdown from our families and cities, nations that we have not loved our children, husbands, and wives, we have brutally loved each other, and the animal kingdom has done much better than we have. We now have the rage of rejection, bitterness, of not being loved.

Spiritual bewitchment says that god does not love you, you don’t love yourself, and no one loves you either. When you buy that lie because of the sins of others around you, you have been bewitched and need a fix.

Getting away from your nurturing would be difficult if you don’t feel loved. You can give up on one, but there is cross-addiction. You will give up on one, and your addiction will turn into something else.

What is spiritual bewitchment? You are listening to a lie that you are not loved or belong on this planet, that you don’t love yourself, and that others don’t love you. It is their loss if they don’t love you because the Lord loves you, is your creator, and knew you before you were born. You don’t have to carry somebody else's sin because they don’t love you for you to go into addictions for your destruction.

Galatians 5:19 – 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest (you can see it), which are these: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

A Christian who allows these things to continue without a conscience or conviction. Witchcraft is actually a legal drug. The other drunkness is illegal drugs.

3rd cause of death in this country is death from prescription drugs. Side effects and adverse reactions. Death from illegal drugs does not make the top 10.

Regarding diet. Did you know weight all depends on how much you like yourself? The more you don’t like yourself, the more you have a weight problem because your metabolism slows down when you don’t like yourself. The more you like yourself, the more your rate of metabolism increases (the rate of burn). It does not matter what you eat, you won’t lose it).

Prozak is the first legal, illegal drug. It is an antihistamine. It is the chemical equivalent of epoxy. They are identical. It is an upper. If you don’t feel good about yourself, go take your upper.

Side effect – it creates anxiety disorders. Second, loss of libido. You alone choose your freedom or your bondage.

Addiction: when you come off those drugs, you won’t die even though the withdrawal is horrible, but if you stay on the drugs, you will die. That Is spiritual bewitchment. That’s all because your body has become the lord.

Do you know how you get rid of bad habits? You make new ones. Sometimes, fasting is a beautiful way to subdue the flesh.

Proverbs 20:1

Addictions to hide your pain.

Prov. 31:1 - 1 The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
2 What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
3 Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
What is side effects about strong drink. Will not administer justice on the earth.

If you have inherited alcoholism you are in trouble. The person that cannot handle alchol is that they have addictive behavior and are really have allergies. Root of allergies is fear. ! John 4:18 – made not perfect in love.

Allergies a broken heart and a spirit of fear.

The kingdom behind the invisible produces addictions.

Luke 11:21 when a strongman armed his goods are in peace. This means strong and armed individuals who control their house or palace. His good is protected. This is about satan’s control over humans by a kingdom. The palace is a human being. The strongman is the principality, the unloving spirit that controls a human being's life. But answering to this principality of an unloving spirit from 10 to 2,000 other spirits reinforcing its power in their life. We cannot remove the strongman but must remove all the things that give him power. You cannot remove bitterness until you remove unforgiveness because unforgiveness gives it power, etc.

The strongman's power cannot be removed by trusting that the power structure is intact. God wants it removed. Jesus is teaching the reality of evil spirits in humans.

Jesus didn’t say you needed inner healing; he said to abide by the finger of god to cast out devils…..

Inner healing does not allow casting out demons in a person’s life. Most inner healing models are co-habitation with the enemy. It is called psychotherapy. You know what psychotherapy is: identify the ancestral darkness of your past, come into agreement with it, look at it, and understand it so that you can have a better life with it. That is cohabitation with the enemy. That is classic union psychotherapy. Psychotherapy – is herracy as far as the word of god is concerned. What the Lord sets free is free indeed. Remove it and don’t cohabitate with it, but destroy it out of your life.

The Archetypes and dark shadows

Dark shadows and evil spirits have long been a topic of fascination and fear for many individuals. Jung considered dark shadows essential components of the individuation process, wherein individuals confront and integrate these shadow aspects into their conscious awareness.

Sometimes, dark shadows can manifest as evil spirits, embodying harmful or destructive qualities that influence an individual's thoughts, emotions, and actions.

The Influence of Evil Spirits

According to certain spiritual beliefs, evil spirits are malevolent entities that seek to disrupt, harm or possess individuals.

In Christian theology, evil spirits are often portrayed as fallen angels or demons who rebelled against the divine order.

Casting out evil spirits is common in many spiritual traditions, aiming to rid individuals of negative influences and restore inner harmony.

However, casting out an evil spirit can have unintended consequences, as the spirit may return with even greater force, bringing seven more spirits to torment the individual.

This phenomenon highlights the complex and interconnected nature of spiritual energies and the challenges of dealing with malevolent forces.

When an evil spirit is cast out, it may wander through a dry place, seeking rest and finding none, leading to its eventual return to the original host.

Understanding the Fear of Evil

Fear of evil and malevolent entities can have profound psychological and spiritual implications, shaping individuals' beliefs, behaviors, and perceptions.

Hierarchy in spiritual realms is crucial in the dynamics between good and evil forces.

Believing that evil is more significant than good can lead to a distorted worldview where fear and negativity dominate one's consciousness. The biblical passage Job 3 serves as a cautionary tale about the consequences of fearing evil and the potential for such fears to manifest in reality. Individuals can cultivate resilience and spiritual strength in facing adversities by acknowledging the presence of evil but affirming the greater power of divine goodness.

In conclusion, dark shadows and evil spirits represent intricate aspects of the human experience that transcend mere superstition or fantasy. By exploring these phenomena with an open mind and a discerning heart, individuals can gain deeper insights into their inner selves and the spiritual forces that shape their lives. 21"When a strong, fully armed man guards his house, his possessions are safe.

22 "But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up the spoils."

In unraveling addiction, we have to dismantle the addiction armor that gives that strongman the power to rule. That strongman is the unloving and unclean spirit. It is an unloving and unclean spirit that will not allow you to accept God’s love, that will not let you be at peace with yourself on this planet in the new birth. And will not let you give or receive love from others. What feeds that has to be dismantled. It isn’t just a matter of conversion. 

It is a matter of restructuring our entire spiritual personality by removing the armor that has become part of our lives spiritually and psychologically.

Addiction, craving, craving drawing to what you are addicted to. Your body is about to pitch a fit, and then your body has a desire; forgetfulness is a characteristic. Many of the drugs destroy your brain cells? Cloudy thinking, substitution for surgery-based products for actual alcoholic drinks. Refusal to face reality. People who are in denial won’t Face their problems because they are highly addictive or addiction-prone. 

God wants you to face every issue of your life. Refusal to accept responsibility. Craving for sugar. Some of the diseases are hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. Bear belly, excessive weight. Predisposition to fornication. That is improper sexual relationships before marriage.
23 "He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters.
24 "When an evil[h] spirit emerges from a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' 25 When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. 26 Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first."

Pornography and sexual addiction have to have a dopamine rush. 

90% are male, and 50% are females who have sexual addictions

Pornography, 100% in masturbation, is adultery (the power of the man’s body belongs to the wife or vice versa. If you give to another thing, it is sexual adultery because something else has power over your body) or fornication. In masturbation, there is an orgasm that releases dopamine.

It is not just a sin issue. It is a root issue that produces sin.

Fornication and incest -

What is behind the molestation? It is more than just sin. It is an addiction. The need to be loved. No outlet. Being unfulfilled. The driving force

Personal lust gratification – it is not lust but the need to be loved. The desire gives the picture to create the drive. To make the adrenaline rush.

Dopamine. It's the same as cocaine. The need for a chemical covering is a bad exchange for the need for peace.

Dependency – highly dependent on others. 

Poverty comes with it. Rejection, full of shame, childish. Sometimes, in a male-female alcoholic profile, the relationship is like a mother and a son. Running away from home for periods, going out, getting drunk, disappearing in binges, and avoiding reality includes repentance (I will never do it again) that only produces more guilt. 

Pouting is a form of control and abuse. The silent treatment is a form of emotional abuse. Fits of rage, fear of man, fear of rejection, self-hatred, hatred of men, women, children, hatred of insecurity. Multiple fears. Jealousy, verbal, emotional, sexual abuse, physical abuse, chronic abuse from the spouse that is a victim. Insanity, guilt, worthlessness, low self-esteem, shame, blame, insecurity in the spouse and the children. 

Sickness and disease in the spouse and the children. Insanity and depression in the spouse and the children. A critical spirit, criticism controlling another, being hard on the family, and being cruel to the family. Difficulty showing love. Hard, never allowing the spouse to have joy in anything. Snearing rejecting what another has done.

The victims are rejected, withdrawn, depressed, sickness exhaustion, overweight, self-hatred, loneliness, mental confusion, hopelessness, shame, anger, fear of suicide, and death.

The alcoholic is more denial, more cruelty, more hardness, more pride, more self-guilt, arrogance, self-hatred, more shame, more shelf pity, more suicide. Many addictions are inherited in the family tree.

This is the armor of Luke 11. This is the stuff that the strongman of addiction is counting on to keep in place in the person’s life so you cannot overthrow him, and he controls him in the need for love.

To remove armor, you begin to show God’s love, to bring the person to a place to accept or be relieved that they are loved. That is the first principle. Perfect love casts out fear. Acceptance, esteem.

Alchologic, the child is born with a defective chemistry base in the basal ganglia. It is spiritual but is reinforced from a biological standpoint. In the basal ganglia, there are four basic categories of neurotransmitters. One of them is defective genetically at birth.

Science has said this about an alcoholic Child being born with a defective chemistry model in the basal ganglia. Alcohol is a drug. It goes right to the brain. That is the pathway. It passes through the basal ganglia. Chemical units with defective chemicals in the basal ganglia produce a chemical reaction that produces another chemical reality in the basal ganglia called THIQ. 

THIQ has now been formed in the addictive personality. The mechanism of THIQ is to produce a biological craving for alcohol.

You not only have the spiritual, but now you have the biological. In ministry, in al., in the gift of miracles, we command the basal ganglia to become normalized. Break the inherited patterns of unloving spirits, and we speak directly into the genetic pattern. We control that defective chemistry and that new chemical THIQ to be eradicated from the work of the Holy Spirit. 

We pronounce in the name of the Lord Jesus that the basel gangla be reformed and conformed to the way it should have been from the foundation of the world in the name of Jesus Christ.

You could have been conceived in drunkenness out of wedlock because of alcohol inherited alcoholic patterns in childhood. Alcohol and drugs help to hide inferiorities, insecurities, and rejection.

Armor: Inherited characteristic. Iniquities and whoredoms in the family tree that need to be dealt with. The co-dependency that goes with it is a form of victimization.

Co-dependency is calling evil good in the name of love. Behind the scenes, you have cruelty, rage, verbal abuse, retaliation, self-hatred, violence, slander, malice, gossip, sleeplessness, nervous stomach, nervousness, headaches, red eyes, physical illness, poor eating habits, nervous breakdowns, cirrhosis of the liver, anxiety, fear of being rejected, paranoya, fear of failure, resentment, fear of being unwanted, guilt, insecurity, self-hatred, intimidation, hopelessness, hatred of others, inability to give or receive love freely, 1 John 4:18. Impairment of decisions, shame, condemnation, depression, failure to communicate, slow thinking, feelings of worthlessness, despair, sorrow, emptiness, no hope, jealousy, madness, sadness, torment. These are just a tiny area of the armor that needs to be stripped to produce freedom.

Accepting my sonship. 

Learning to love God and to receive God and that I am okay and that I am love. The ability to give and receive love keeps me and preserves me in my marriage. Saves me from pornography, keeps me from adultery, and keeps me safe, and I don’t even have to think about it.
